The Somaceptmio microcone is only 100 μm (= 0.1 mm) high. It is easy to use as it does not damage the skin, and there is virtually no pain when it is applied. It is designed as a safe and easy-to-handle medical device.
The reason for the gentle yet definite stimulation

The microcone matrix of Somacept Mio is located within the product disc (7 mm in diameter), where the microcones form a surface as an aggregate.
When these microcones come into contact with the skin, they produce a gentle stimulation. At the same time, they reliably transmit a subtle stimulus, too delicate to be perceived as pain, to the skin nerves, forming the basis for therapeutic effects.
Plastic protrusion + adhesive bandage
The plastic microcone has an adhesive bandage attached to secure it to the skin. This moderate contact allows slight vibrations and pressure to cause the microcone to vibrate, continuously sending stimuli to the skin.
